LADWP Energy Efficient Pool Pump Rebate Walkthrough
Congratulations on upgrading your existing single speed pool pump with a new energy efficient, Variable Speed pool pump!
If you are a LADWP customer, you receive a $500 rebate for installing an energy efficient pool pump and an additional $500 if you were replacing a single speed pool pump, for a total of $1,000.00!
The rebate application can seem pretty hefty, but we hope the following walkthrough can help make the process easier.
There are 2 separate rebate documents:
-
The Consumer Rebate Program (CRP) Application: this application is for simply installing a new eligible Energy Efficient Variable Speed Pool Pump. The rebate amount for just this application is $500.
-
Certified Pool Pump Replacement Program (CPPR): this is an addendum to the CRP application. This addendum is for the additional $500 for replacing an existing single speed pump with said Variable Speed Pump. The CPPR document must be submitted with the CRP to receive the full $1,000.00 rebate.
Upon completion of the installation and payment for the work, you will receive the following documents from us:
-
Proof the pump was installed by a Certified Aquatic Equipment Installer (the CAEI certificate)
-
Proof of installation: Photos of the existing pump before removal and photos of the new pump installed. The invoice from us which serves as the "Installation Contract" and includes certified installer information and pool pump controller settings.
